Media Use Consent and Removal Policy

A clear guide explaining how bttr collects uses stores and removes photos videos audio and stories. This policy protects your privacy dignity and right to choose. All practices follow California privacy laws and bttr confidentiality standards.

The purpose of this policy is to make sure all media use is voluntary informed and respectful. We want participants and families to feel confident knowing exactly how we collect use and remove photos videos audio and stories.

What we mean by media

Media includes photos videos audio written stories quotes social media posts flyers brochures website content promotional content and internal training materials. No confidential or private details are ever shared without permission.

When media is collected

Media is collected only when consent has been given. We may gather media during services events workshops interviews or celebrations to document success stories highlight programs or support staff training.

Where media may be used

When consent is provided media may appear in:

• The bttr website
• Printed brochures flyers or reports
• bttr social media pages
• Internal training materials

All media is used respectfully aligned with our values and never in a misleading or exploitative way.

Consent process

• Voluntary. You are never required to give consent
• Reversible. You may change your decision at any time
• Specific. You choose what types of media you are comfortable with
• Inclusive. Legal representatives may provide consent if needed

Your decision will never affect your services.

Confidentiality and security

All media is securely stored and accessed only by authorized staff. We never publish legal names diagnoses addresses or confidential information. Participants may request to preview any content before it is shared.

Media removal

If you change your mind you may request removal at any time. Email info@bttrliving.com with your name a description of the media and where you saw it. We will confirm your request within five business days and remove the content within thirty days. While we cannot control third party reposts we will remove everything we directly manage.

Revoking consent

If you decline consent we will not collect or share any media involving you. If you revoke previous consent it applies moving forward. To remove any previously published content follow the removal process.
